Small works on paper, coaxed from dye baths

Extracting natural dyes takes time, and I often get impatient to see the tone and intensity of color in a dye bath. These small pieces fill time as my dye materials simmer - I dip papers and build up layers of color in organic shapes that are entirely dependent on the diameter and liquid level of the pot I’m working with.
